WHEN it comes to making money, the Driver and Vehicle Licencing Agency could teach Premiership footballers a thing or two.
And just to prove that they’re up there with football’s hot shots, the DVLA has come up with a new wheeze to cash in on personalised number plates.
Its next number plate auction will be held at the home of Manchester United, Old Trafford, and among the gems up for grabs will be football-related private number plates including UTD 805S andŠFER 661E.
In total, 1,500 registrations will go under the hammer at the three-day event at ther Theatre of Dreams starting on Wednesday, March 24.
