GREEK police are still to decide if they will strike on the day of the Champions League final.
Rebel officers and the country’s government have until Tuesday to come to an agreement, with the army ready to step in.
With some 30,000 Reds fans - almost double the official ticket allocation - expected to travel, police chiefs have drafted in 20,000 officers.
But, despite a police strike being banned by the country’s constitution, some officers view the final as the perfect showcase to push their demands for better pay and working conditions.
Antonis Botaitis, general secretary of the Greek Police Officers’ Federation, said his association had asked the government to respond to its demands by May 15.
