Everton shouldn't worry about St James' pain

SOMETIMES the best team loses in a football match as Everton found to their cost at Newcastle.

The important thing now is to take something out of the West Ham game so that they can start a new run of results that will continue the progression they have shown since the turn of the year.

A few eyebrows were raised over the loan deal for Sander Westerveld. I don't think there is a problem with him having played for Liverpool.

Given the available alternatives, he brings a lot of experience with him, having played in the Premiership and Spain, and made a solid enough debut in the north east.
