LFC Sunday wrap: Gerrard on Anelka, Benitez on the owners, Crouch on his future

Peter Crouch admits he can't guarantee he will be at Liverpool next season.

Quoted in Sunday newspapers, he said: "I'm hoping I'll get enough games by the end of the season to warrant staying. I'll have to look at the situation in the summer but to have aspirations to play for your country you need to be playing regularly for your club."

Crouch also revealed: "Rafa told me: 'Go elsewhere and you may play more league games, or stay here and compete for titles, play in the Champions League and end up playing as many games as elsewhere, albeit not so many in the league'."
