Kick-off for trials for AFCLiverpool

PLAYER applications for a new amateur football team being set up in Liverpool close this Sunday.

The new non-league football club, AFC Liverpool, will be holding trials in May, and have been receiving online applications via their website www.afcliverpool.org.uk for the past month.

Club spokesman Alun Parry said: “We have been inundated with player applications and we now need to start organising the trials.”

AFC Liverpool hopes to be playing in the Vodkat League next season.
