Young LFC star remains in critical condition after car crash

TWO teenage boys injured in a car crash which killed two of their friends were still in a critical but stable condition last night.

Liverpool Academy footballer Sean Highdale and another 17-year-old, yet to be named, are being treated in hospital after the Sunday night crash on Speke Boulevard.

Their friends, 7-year-olds Kalam Wooding and Thomas Benn, both 17, were killed in the crash, and another friend escaped unhurt.

The boys’ car collided with another, Volkswagon Beetle during the accident, catapulting through trees.

The driver of the other car suffered whiplash.
