John Arne Riise in transfer talks with AS Roma

Liverpool full-back John Arne Riise has wasted no time in meeting with officials of AS Roma after being given permission to talk to the club.

The Norwegian defender landed in the Italian capital on Wednesday morning to open negotiations with last season’s Serie A runners-up.

According to reports in Italy, a four-year deal is on offer to the 27-year-old.
