A Hull of a victory - Liverpool FC reserves

LIVERPOOL Reserves went six points clear at the top of the Premier Reserve League North following a 4-1 win over Hull City.

John McMahon's men extended their winning run to eight matches. It means the second string have increased their advantage over second-placed Manchester United at the summit, although they can cut the lead to three points if they win their game in hand.

LIverpool took the lead on 25 minutes through David Amoo before Nathan Eccleston doubled the lead two minutes into the second half.

Nikola Saric added the third before Amoo smashed home.

Tom Cairney slotted home from the penalty spot late on for Hull.
