For the duration of the event – from Friday morning to Monday evening – we will be a running a Live Blog, gathering words, pictures and videos from our reporting team. You can also contribute to the Live Blog in any of the following ways:

1. Direct from your mobile phone. Texts and (if your phone supports it) photos can be messaged to 0771 3888 008 (your standard network rates apply). Please put the keyword “tallships” at the start of your message so we know what it is about. You can send in texts about the current state of traffic; anything unusual or newsworthy you have spotted; or your reaction to what’s going on. If you’re sending a photo, a brief caption is helpful.

2. From a computer with internet access: You can use our Flickr site to upload photos at www.liverpooldailypost.co.uk/flickr

3. From a computer with internet access: You can view and comment on the Live Blog directly from www.liverpooldailypost.co.uk/tallships
