So fan and local promoter Steve King is bringing him back on Monday, October 22.
Scarlett is a musician whose performances cross a number of musical genres. “I bill my music as jazz, blues, ragtime and swing because those are the four things I have been accused of most often,” he says.
He is self taught which created an original finger picking style, described as “stride guitar” by some critics
“I made up my own way of playing before I heard anyone trying to do similar things,” he explains.
“Later on, various people helped me refine it.”
These included people like the legendary guitarist Lonnie Johnson who played with people like Louis Armstrong and Bessie Smith, and modernist musician Bruce Cockburn who produced Mose’s first album.
For his Telegraph Inn appearance he will be supported by local singer/ songwriter Steve Roberts.
