THEATRE: Sold-out premiere of a new drama about Liverpool FC manager Bill Shankly, The Shankly Show, is playing for just one evening. Last minute replacement, Scots actor Alexander “Sandy” West, plays the iconic manager in a play by Andrew Sherlock which is aptly a play of two halves, 45 minutes each way. Maybe some returns. FRINGE: Lucky Dip is a new play from the Stopped Clock company and set in Liverpool. Professional gambler Doug has never lost – until he meets Frances in a bathtub in Liverpool city centre.
