Unity’s Splatterfest! has worldwide inspiration

The Unity Theatre will join with Fuse to create their own new show, Treasure, for a series of performances from May 29 in which the theatre space will be changed to allow the audience to be part of a story involving Rabbit and a treasure search.

The Unity season will also include an appearance by patron David Morrissey, a talk and screening by Stephen Poliakoff, the premiere of a play Rock about Rock Hudson and his agent and numerous events from the Liverpool Comedy Festival and Liverpool Arabic Arts Festival.

The theatre is creating a third performing space by converting its upstairs mini bar.

ALSO staging a children’s theatre festival will be the Southport Arts Centre, whose Play Up! Festival runs on June 14 and 15.
