Eddy Grant back on stage

MUSIC: Reggae legend Eddy Grant plays a hotly-anticipated gig with his Frontline Orchestra tonight. Famed for classic tracks Electric Avenue and I Don't Wanna Dance, Grant returns to the stage. Carling Academy, Hotham Street, doors 7.30pm, tickets £22.50 adv. 0905 020 3999.

GIG: Another Liverpool debut tonight, courtesy of Pearl – that’s Pearl Aday, above, daughter of Meat Loaf.
