LIVERPOOL FC star Jamie Carragher will be at WHSmith’s new Liverpool One store today to sign copies of his autobiography.

In the book, Carra: My Autobiography, he reveals that playing for his club was more important to him than representing his country.

He said that an England defeat "never hurt me in the same way as losing with my club" despite missing a penalty as England went out of the 2006 World Cup against Portugal in a shoot-out.

The book signing session lasts from 2.30pm to 4.30pm.

It will be followed by an invitation-only event at Carragher’s own restaurant, cafe sports England, in Stanley Street.
