Yours Truly to launch show

A Great Night In by Doug Hyde _320

INTERNATIONALLY acclaimed artist Doug Hyde will be making a personal appearance at Rennies Gallery tonight to launch Yours Truly, his latest collection of limited editions and a selection of original paintings.

He will be at the Bold Street gallery between 6pm and 9pm to meet fans and judge a children’s competition inspired by his work.

Steve Rennie, owner of the gallery said: “We are absolutely de- lighted to welcome Doug into the gallery, especially as I know he has just returned from a hugely successful tour of Japan.

“The demand for the work has spiralled so we are very proud he will be here launching this wonderful collec- tion.”

To mark the occasion, children have been invited to create their own versions of some of the classic Doug Hyde characters with pastels and the gallery has mounted the work ready for Doug to judge

The winners will receive gift vouchers for Rennies Arts and Crafts, and their pictures will be professionally framed.
