THEATRE: Wearing Colours is the story of four Liverpool fans caught up in the Heysel disaster, spanning their emotions of the evening, from the excitement before the 1985 match and the tragedy that followed. Unity Theatre, tonight, 8pm, until Saturday, tickets £9/ £7. 0151 709 4988.

GIG: Michael Head makes his debut at the Academy under the guise of Michael Head & The Red Elastic Band tonight. MUSIC: Nigel Kennedy, top, the celebrated violinist, celebrates the new release, A Very Nice Album, with a return to Liverpool tomor-row night.
