BIENNIAL: John Moores Prizewinners 1957-2006, a selection of main prize-winners from John Moores Liverpool exhibitions since 1957. MUSIC: Joe Stilgoe, compared to the likes of Buddy Greco, Mel Torme and Nat King Cole, is the guest at the next After 8 show at the Philharmonic this weekend, the venue’s popular series of jazz, roots and unplugged gigs in the intimate setting of the Rodewald Suite. FOLK: Former Van Morris-on guitarist Arty McGlynn will join fiddler Nollaig Cas-ey, guitarist Chris Newman and harpist Máire Ní Chath-asaigh for a Southport per-formance tomorrow.
