A quirky night with 007 Bond

A QUIRKY Bond extravaganza is taking place this weekend.

Club Geek Chic is celebrating the release of Quantum of Solace with a special evening at Fact.

Geek Chic Does Bond, will include a screening of the latest film and an evening of live 007-inspired entertainment, including comedy, burlesque and live music.

After the movie, ticket-holders will be directed to The Box on the ground floor of Fact where MC Alan Cross will introduce the evening’s acts including Geek Chic regulars Ms Diva Hollywood – one of Liverpool’s finest burlesque performers – as a Bond vixen, comedy actor Paul Duckworth as Bond villain Ernst Blowave, and Liverpool musician, actor and Geek Chic musical director Mike Neary as ‘M’.

Guests will be expected to be dressed in Bond themed outfits. Tuxedo, catsuit, cocktail dress or blue safari suit a-la-Roger Moore are all acceptable and there will be a bottle of bubbly for the best or most unusual outfit.

The event takes place from 6.30pm until 1.30am on Saturday.
