THEATRE: A special screening of the 2007 documentary on the life of artist and club promoter Yankel Feather, above, who died in April, is being held as part of Liverpool’s Homotopia not Homophobia festival. The film is particularly poignant as Feather sang at the Unity as a young boy.Unity Theatre, tickets £3, 0151 709 4988.

ART: Op artist Bridget Riley is the focus of The Walker’s latest exhibition, on tour from the Arts Council. View some of her most famous works, as well as studies that have not been seen outside her studio in four decades. Most interesting are the annotations on her preparatory drawings, which reveal the ideas behind her work. The Walker, until December 13.

ART: A retrospective of the work of Liverpool artist Pete Clarke follows his career from 1978, when he moved to the city, to the present day. Looking Back: Facing Forward is a selection of his paintings, prints and drawings, showing a shift in colour, tone and subject.Victoria Gallery & Museum, Brownlow Hill, until January 23.
