Land Girls receive WWII honours

The efforts of women who worked to provide food and timber in WWII has been formally recognised in a ceremony at Downing Street hosted by Prime Minister Gordon Brown. Representative members of the Women's Land Army (WLA) and the Women's Timber Corps (WTC) received commemorative badges. Pictures: PA Wire
