Fashions come and go but some things never go out of style. Laura Davis reports
Black/grey tulip dress, £390. All clothes from Anna Sui
IT SEEMS that there's no getting rid of the dress. It was the hot wardrobe must-have last spring/summer, then it was the autumn/winter staple and now it is next season's key item.
Hemlines are short, but can be worn over the ubiquitous leggings or trousers if you don't want to flash any leg.
Cream silk pattern dress, £460
There are plenty of styles to choose from - butter-wouldn't-melt tea dresses, Austenesque empire lines or futuristic sculpted shapes.
Fabric goes from one extreme to the other, either block colour or intricately patterned.
Silk spot baby doll net dress, £280
