DEBBIE Johnson visits a home that's perfect for a couple who like to party.
LIKE many modern apartments, Rosie Deane's and Chris Bradshaw's waterfront home is blessed with clear white walls and high ceilings.
The perfect blank canvas, in fact, for Rosie's creative efforts.
The 23-year-old has produced a series of large abstract canvasses in brightly coloured splashes and swirls, stripes and squiggles, which hang on the walls of the living room in the flat in the Anchorage, at Mariner's Wharf.
Her partner Chris, also 23, says: "They are all authentic Rosie Deane. When she is doing them, you're not quite sure of where they are going. I am no art critic, but I can say that they really brighten the place up, especially as we have so much wall space - and you guarantee nobody else has any paintings exactly the same as ours."
The three-bedroomed apartment is on the top floor of the building, which means it comes with a large balcony and stunning views across the Mersey.
Its location - a few minutes' walk from the city, and near to Liverpool Marina - also ensures that it is a real party flat, with a constant flow of friends calling in, and providing a starting point (and finishing point) for many a night out.
Along with housemates Natoya Daniels and Will Rowe, Rosie and Chris play host to a number of parties and events.
Rosie says: "We love having people round. We have all kinds of events here, it is an incredibly sociable place. Because the apartment is so large, especially the living room and the balcony, you can easily fit 30 or 40 people in for a party, and in summer we have loads of barbecues. It's perfect, really."
The large open-plan living room and kitchen has three sofas, and all manner of entertainment gadgets.
A glass table and shelving unit house the TV and DVD player, and the room also has surround sound and a Playstation. On top of that, there is a projector system set up so they can watch movies on the biggest of screens.
Two guitars live there as well, due to Will's role in the Liverpool band, We See Foxes.
