IF THE word “prints” reminds you of stamping sugar paper with engraved chunks of lino or carved potato halves as a kid then you’ll be at home with the current passion for patterns.
Paisley, geometric shapes, flowers and spots appear on tunics, dresses and blouses in colours straight out of a child’s paintbox.

This look can be far from subtle – pair a bright tunic over a pair of jeans or shorts if you want to make a statement.
Or, for something less obvious, put a top in a gentle polka dot print with a high-waisted pencil skirt or plain cropped trousers.
