DESIGNER labels come and go but there are some that endure, evolv- ing with the times, while rising above fashion fads to be just as breathtaking as they were in their first catwalk show.

Although she has been at it for more than three decades, Dame Vivienne Westwood still creates designer clothes that induce envy in her younger contemporaries.

The Derbyshire-born former school- teacher started out embracing punk style and has since moved further into the mainstream with her clothing, featured in Sex in the City, and Gwen Stefani among a host of star fans.

In this year’s spring/summer range, layers is again a key look, with prints looking almost graffitied into the fabric. White also has a prominent place in the Anglomania collection.
