FASHION designers may tend to dress from head to toe in black, black, black but they don’t expect everyone else to.

This season, colour is the way to go and the more vivid the better.

Right on trend, north west charity Henshaws is urging fashionistas and fashion-not-stas alike to put on their brightest and most outrageously colourful outfits for Wear Bright for Sight Day tomorrow.

Staff at schools, colleges, shops, offices, hospitals and fire stations will all be taking part and each donating £2 to Henshaws’ work with blind and visually impaired people across the region.

Stars of Hollyoaks, Shameless and Coronation Street and have pledged their support to the good cause.

The clothes in this fashion shoot are modelled by Hollyoaks actors Anthony Quinlan and Zoe Lister.

THE chic new bar Chaya is the setting for this week’s fashion shoot. Opened at the end of last month, on Wood Street, it replaces the Tea Factory and is based on the New York cocktail scene.

Chaya, which is Indian for tea, offers around 40 different types of cocktails as well as a pan-Asian menu.
