YOU don’t need legs like a supermodel to get shorty this summer.

Anyone who enjoys parading their pins can find a pair to suit them with the vast array available on the high street.

From chic city shorts to hot-pants and casual cut-off denims – the key is to pick a style that accentuates your good points and hides the bad.

Choose a length that is most flattering to your shape and go for fairly sturdy fabric to avoid a VPL.

Hot-pants should only be worn by those who are convinced that they have great legs and a pert bum, especially when it comes to this season’s high-waisted styles.

And you don’t just have to wear them on the beach. For work, team a pair of tailored shorts in grey or navy blue with a crisp white shirt and slouchy jacket.
