Hoist up the hemlines for summer

The rain can’t dampen the holidays forever, so dare to bare those legs in a mini. Laura Davis reports

IF YOU’RE not hiding your pins under a maxi dress this summer then you’ll surely be showing them off in a mini.

This season, skirts are all about length – whether that’s down to your ankles or well above the knee.

In the warmer months, short hemlines rely on a good pair of pins, as there’s no opportunity to hide behind a thick pair of tights, but you could always pair a mini skirt with leggings if you’re not feeling brave.

Tighter styles suit trimmer figures, while floaty skirts can be very flattering and hide bulky thighs.
