IF THE kaleidoscope of bright colours that are so popular this season has started giving you a head- ache, you’ll be ready to embrace a return to black.

But this autumn/winter it comes with a twist – the look is worn top to toe.

Layer black items one over the other and don’t be tempted to brighten it up with a cheerful scarf or chunky jewellery.

However, if you’re worried about looking like you’ve left your Halloween costume on long into December, simply pair your outfit with a more colourful handbag.

THE neo-classical features of St George’s Hall provided the perfect backdrop for this week’s fashion shoot.

The building, which was reopened in April by the Prince of Wales, after a £23m restoration, now boasts a Heritage Centre to provide visitors with an exciting introduction to its place in Liverpool’s history.

The criminal court and prisoners’ cells are open to the public and there is also a new tearoom.
