Stunning spring styles offer a new take on some fabulous classic couture. Laura Davis sees what’s available

SPRING fashion is firmly rooted in the past with the most playful looks of last century making a comeback this year.

Couture-inspired shapes hark back to glamorous times, with a focus on full skirts from the fifties and delicate seventies-influenced maxi dresses.

There is a nautical influence to tailoring with clean high waisted white trousers and cropped shorts adorned with silver trimmed buttons that create an effortless cool.
