Ladies may have a special day at the races but as Laura Davies discovers boys can have as much fun getting dressed up

IT MAY be called Ladies Day but there’s no reason the girls should have all the fun at Aintree Races next month.

Besides, it wouldn’t be the same without the men all suited and booted with a racecard in hand.

Topman’s new suiting range focuses on new styles, such as the slimline and 60s skinny fit mod look, as well as the more traditional premium wool.

Grey and black continue to lead this season’s colour palette, along with spring tones of taupe and light brown.

Shirts and ties have also reverted back to the 60s mod trend, featuring skinny ties. Alternatively try classic cuts in simple pastels and clean stripes.

Personalise the outfit with a trilby hat or introduce a flash of colour with a jersey scarf or a pair braces.
