Emma Pinch takes a leaf out of the Swinging Sixties’ fashion book for a fresh, young look this season
WHAT is it about the Sixties that exerts such a magnetic pull on fashion?
Bouffant hair-dos and smokey eyes are everywhere, and Dusty Springfield-esque popstrels are at the top of the charts.

So, for a Hard Day’s Night on the town, swing into Sixties print dresses – currently providing a fab alternative to floaty florals this spring, with strong lines, bold blocks of colour and neck bows adding a touch of femininity. They are less lurid and more flattering than previous offerings, but if you’re confident about your legs you can go as short as you dare. Here, we let you Imagine . . .
