Gok Wan’s got designs on our style

FAMOUSLY, he has made it his mission in life to teach women how to look good naked but, for his next TV outing, Gok Wan plans to show us how we can look every bit as sensational fully clothed.

According to Gok, style has nothing to do with age, looks or class – you either have it or you don’t.

And the Fairy Gokfather will be hitting Liverpool on Sunday, looking for our top fashionistas to strut their stuff on his travelling catwalk, in Williamson Square.

The best of the entrants will win a place in the grand final and the chance to be crowned the most stylish person in Britain and to win a fabulous fashion prize.

Gok, whose new series is set to be a celebration of fashion, featuring celebrities and top international designers, says he is looking for men and women with originality and flair who aren’t afraid to show it off.

"I’ll be travelling around all the big cities in fashionable Britain looking for members of the public who can mince their gorgeous butts down the runway," says the 34-year-old stylist.

"I will be roaming the streets and literally pulling members of the public from work, school or college to strut their stuff on the catwalk," he says.

"It will be a celebration of people being individual – each part of the UK has pockets of style and I want people to be proud of their looks and show them off."

Gok says he is especially on the look-out for people with their own unique brand of style – it’s not about designer fashion or expensive price tags, it’s all about individuality and not being afraid to stand out in the crowd.

Anyone can enter, so long as you have got the confidence to pull it off. You simply need to turn up on Sunday, bring along photographic proof of age, and you are in with a chance.
