FEEL like surrounding yourself with the best high street brands and catching some of the hottest catwalk looks for the coming season? Then get yourself over to the Echo Arena for the Liverpool Echo Fashion Weekend.

Sponsored by John Lewis Liverpool, the event will bring together many of your favourite retailers reflecting the enormous changes Liverpool’s high street has undergone in 2008.

It’s a fast-paced, high-octane event offering autumn/ winter collections from some of fashion’s biggest names, including Coast, Jigsaw, New Look, Wallis, Oasis, Principles, Miss Selfridge, and Whistles, and collections from Lewis’s and Clayton Square.

If you’re looking for something different, independent traders are represented courtesy of Desires, of Allerton Road, while hot new Liverpol One label Bank will be there, too, along with the newly-opened Vero Moda and Jack Jones.

There’s something here for every taste and pocket.

But, if you thought the fashion weekend was all about clothes, think again.

There is also a great health, beauty and lifestyle exhibition to enjoy.

Fancy a mini make-over? Looking for tips on how to dress for your shape or advice on surgical and non- surgical cosmetic treatments?

Perhaps you want to explore how to get fit and tone up, get a whiter than white smile or discover the latest news on hair trends?

The Fashion Weekend will bring together beauty brands from Boots, Clinique, Tracey Bell Clinics, KCo Beauty and Nails Supreme to teach you everything you need to know about the very latest themes and trends.

Look out, too, for the demonstration stage where you will find experts offering key advice on styling for the plus-sized lady, all the latest make-up techniques, and advice on how you can look ten years younger.

And across the event there will be a chance to indulge in a spot of retail therapy. From shoes and handbags to lipgloss, and even Coleen’s new fragrance, don’t forget to bring your purse!

There is even a goody bag for every guest and entertainment courtesy of celebrity hosts Matt Littler and Darren Jeffries, aka Max and OB from Channel Four’s Hollyoaks.
