WHEN it comes to picking a party dress this Christmas season, the mantra is “short and shoulders”.
Cover both bases and you simply can’t go wrong. With the eighties revival showing no signs of abating any time soon, dresses are short, sexy and structured.
Balmain rocked the look at the high end but, on the high street, no-one has taken the trend and run with it like Oasis.
Fast becoming the “go-to” store for knock-out numbers, Oasis’s Christmas collection is packed with show-stopping styles. And remember, ladies, your dress does not have to be black.
Bright digital prints on satin will ensure you stand out in a crowd while you cannot go wrong with sequins and, if you have got the bottle, why not go hell for some leather in a butter soft body-con dress?
For a more relaxed look, team jeggings with a Breton top and keep warm in faux fur of the Mongolian variety. And don’t forget the accessories – tough cuffs, studded clutches and chunky bangles complete the look.
