Get on your Marks for a stylish spring

Emma Johnson gets a first look at the new season collection from M&S
WE KNOW, we know, you have barely had a chance to catch your breath from Christmas shopping, then there were the sales to contend with.
If you are lucky, you will have picked up a bargain or two.
But the truly clever fashionista is not thinking about cut-price clothing from last season. She is already looking forward to spring.
With the weather forecasters predicting another big freeze and the gritters still out on the roads, the bright days of March may seem like a lifetime away, but the clothes that accompany it will soon be on the rails.
At Marks and Spencer, that means soft tailoring, pastel colours and feminine cuts. The jacket continues to be a wardrobe staple while pencil skirts make for elegant work wear and, love or hate them, it would seem we have not seen the last of harem pants. You have been warned.
