PAUL and Linda are to wed at Strawberry Field - and they say it is forever.
Paul Davie, who plays bass in American Beatles tribute band the Fab Five, will exchange vows with sweetheart Linda Thomas at the gates of the world famous children's home next Tuesday.
The lovebirds both live in Liverpool ... New York State.
But the musician is making the 3,500-mile journey to playat the Mathew Street festival and Linda will join him for the special ceremony and a honeymoon.
Mr Davie, 40, said: "We're tying the knot in historical fashion at Strawberry Field, with the intent for the marriage to last, as the song infers, 'forever'.
"We hear the Paul and Linda jokes all the time.
"Being the bassist, like Sir Paul McCartney, in a Beatles band, and living in a place called Liverpool just adds to the humour.
