All you need is Love for a Fab new record

THE world premiere of the new Beatles album will be held in Liverpool tonight.

Love will getits first public airing at a sell-out show in the Mosquito bar in Victoria Street.

The album, produced by Beatles mentor Sir George Martin and his son Giles, is a reworking of many of the band's most famous songs.

Sir Paul McCartney today spoke of his excitement at the new work.

Its official launch will come at one of the Beatles' spiritual homes during a VIP hearing at the Abbey Road recording studios in London on November 20.

The Liverpool hearing is a curtain-raiser for the official release.

Four other major cities will also hear Apple's nationwide regional album playbacks, including Newcastle and Glasgow.

Free tickets were snapped up from outlets including the Beatles Shop, Music Zone, HMV and Virgin Megastores.

Stephen Bailey, manager of the Beatles Shop in Mathew Street, said: "The moment we mentioned they were available they were just snapped up."
