TWO teenagers have been arrested for a second time and charged with the murder of a man who died after being assaulted as he cycled home from work.
Michael Harrison died in hospital five days after he was hit with a piece of wood as he rode down Bridle Road in Netherton on July 6.
Two males, aged 16 and 15, were charged with murder yesterday. They had previously been arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to rob and wounding charges.
The two youths will appear in South Sefton Youth Court tomorrow.
Mr Harrison, 21, suffered serious head injuries in the attack two months ago.
He was found in a critical condition lying in the road by passers-by, having been hit with a wooden panel ripped from a nearby fence.
Despite several operations to try and stop bleeding and to ease pressure on his brain, he died with his family at his bedside five days after the incident.
