Rachel Jones: Woman denies cyclist stab murder

A woman has denied the murder of a mother-of-two who was stabbed as she cycled through Liverpool.

Rachel Jones, 26, who was originally from Chester but lived in Anfield, was attacked in Woodville Terrace, Anfield, as she rode her bike on 14 March this year.

Louise Gardner, 25, from Kensington, Liverpool, appeared via video link at Liverpool Crown Court to plead not guilty to the murder.

Gardner was remanded in custody to stand trial on August 26.
