Liverpool airport clampdown on criminals fleeing UK

CRIMINALS wanted on warrant who are attempting to enter or leave the country, are being targeted today by Merseyside Police and Her Majesty’s Courts Service during a joint operation at Liverpool John Lennon Airport.

‘Operation Turn-Up’ will continue throughout the day, it is part of a number of ongoing initiatives targeting wanted people.

Today’s operation brings added security to the airport and reassurance to the public during the approach to the busy summer period.
