Man killed in M62 smash
A Liverpool man has been killed when his BMW smashed into a road sign on the M62 motorway, near Rainhill.
The 35-year-old man was travelling towards Manchester when his car careered from the road, said police.
Firefighters used hydraulic cutting equipment to remove the roof but the man was already dead. Merseyside Police have appealed for information.
