Fire closes Moorfield rail station

COMMUTERS were left out in the cold at Moorfields rail station, Liverpool, this evening as a fire forced its closure.

Train services continued around the Liverpool loop (James Street, Lime Street and Liverpool Central), without stopping at Moorfields.

It is not yet known what caused the blaze. No one was reported to be injured in the incident.
