50-year-old man stabbed in Southport
A 50-YEAR-OLD man was stabbed in the chest in Southport this morning.
Police officers were called at around 12.50am to the Duke Street area of Southport, after reports of a stabbing were recieved.
The victim was taken to hospital with a stab wound to his chest. He is currently being treated in hospital where his condition is described as stable.
A 39-year old man from the Southport area has been arrested on suspicious of wounding.
