A 15-YEAR-OLD boy today relived the moment he saw young mum Rachel Jones attacked in the street.

The schoolboy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, said he saw Rachel Jones repeatedly punched and kicked.

He told a Liverpool Crown Court jury how he watched as the mother-of-two fell to the ground, where she was stamped on as she lay helpless.

Louise Gardner, 26, of Mallow Road, Kensington, denies murder.

She is accused of launching a frenzied revenge attack on Ms Jones, 26, of Anfield.

It is alleged she, and two neighbours, chased Ms Jones because she smashed a window at Gardner’s mum’s home.

Ms Jones had cycled away from the scene.

But Gardner is accused of following her for about half a mile before catching up with her in Woodville Terrace, Anfield, at 8.30pm on March 14.

Today the teenage witness said: “She grabbed her by the hair and started punching and kicking her, kicking her in the ribs.

“She punched her about five times and kicked her about six or seven.”

Ms Jones suffered 14 knife wounds in the attack – two of which penetrated her heart.
