Man quizzed on suspicion of murder

A MAN is being quizzed on suspicion of murder after a body was found in a house in Warrington.

Officers made the grim discovery at around 8.30pm yesterday at an address in Leicester Street.

The man, 52, had no obvious signs of injuries but was pronounced dead at the scene.

Detectives believe they know who the dead man is and are in the process of contacting his family.

A 39-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder and is currently helping police with inquiries.
