FIREFIGHTERS pulled a 52-year-old man out of a burning house in Liverpool this morning.
The blaze began in the bedroom of a home in Delamore Street, Kirkdale, at about 7.30am.
Blankets and bedding were ablaze when the crew from the Kirkdale station arrived at the scene. The occupant suffered severe smoke inhalation and nasty burns to his arms according to the firefighters.
He has been taken to the Royal Liverpool Hospital for further treatment.
