FIREFIGHTERS had to break into a flat to rescue a sleeping man after a grill pan in his kitchen caught fire.
They were called to the home in Sheil Road, Anfield at 12.30am today and managed to lead the 34-year-old to safety.
He was treated for shock by paramedics at the scene.
