A 34-year-old woman was rescued from her burning home early this morning.
Fire crews were called to the mid terraced property in Smollett Street, Bootle, at around 2.15am.
On arrival, they found the ground floor front living room on fire.
The woman was rescued by firefighters from the front bedroom and taken by ambulance to Aintree hospital.
She suffered smoke inhalation and cuts to feet and hands.
