A MAN was due to appear in court today charged with attempted murder.
It follows an incident on Saturday evening when officers were called to an address in The Northern Road, Crosby.
A 50-year-old man was found with stab wounds to his chest. He is now in a stable condition in hospital.
Paul Anthony May, 37, of Fairbairn Road, Waterloo, was arrested and later charged with attempted murder.
