Merseyside police turn up £65,000 worth of cannabis in St Helens home

POLICE turned up £65,000 worth of cannabis as a factory being run at a Merseyside house.
A woman from St. Helens was arrested and charged yesterday following the police raid at a house in Broom Close, Eccleston.
Acting on community information, officers from Merseyside Police’s Operation Hawk Team executed a warrant on the property and discovered a large cannabis farm of over 200 plants, with a value of approximately £65,000.
Lin Lan Hung, aged 48 of no fixed abode, St Helens, was arrested by officers and subsequently charged with the production of class B drugs and abstracting electricity.
